Is this really built for laundry?
For the round, yes. Pickup, processing and return are real legs of an order here, not a workaround, and the scheduled round, one-off jobs, sequenced runsheets, per-order or monthly billing and disputes all fit a laundry business as they are. What it is not is a garment-tag barcode POS. If you tag every shirt individually, that system sits alongside this one rather than being replaced by it.
How do you track whose items are whose?
Each pickup is logged against the customer’s order, held in your care through processing, and cleared on return. You can list the items collected on the order, and at any point you can see what you’re holding and for whom.
Can I run a weekly plan and still take one-off jobs?
Yes. A standing weekly or fortnightly pickup runs on a schedule the customer controls, and a same-week one-time order drops onto the same round with the same custody trail.
