Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial. To start it, we take a small charge of $1. That charge is real and we do not refund it. It does two jobs. It confirms you are a genuine business, and it registers your card, so when the trial ends your plan carries on without you entering payment details again. For the 14 days you have the full product, nothing held back. We remind you before the trial ends. Cancel any time before that last day and we never take the plan fee. That $1 is the only money that changes hands.

No. You keep every bit of what you sell. We charge a flat plan fee and nothing on top.

Yes, up or down, whenever your round changes. Moving up takes effect straight away. Moving down takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and if your numbers are above the smaller plan’s limits, we ask you to bring them down first so nothing breaks.

Two different things, so two answers. Your business runs in whatever currency you choose, stored down to the smallest unit so nothing rounds away. Your Lanemi plan itself is billed in US dollars, wherever in the world you are.

No, the price on the card is before tax. Whether anything is added depends on where your business is registered. If VAT or sales tax applies to you, we work it out and show it at checkout, so you see the full amount before you pay rather than after. If your business is VAT-registered in the EU or UK, enter your VAT number and we charge no VAT at all. Whatever happens, the plan fee itself does not move.

No. You are never billed per person. Each plan covers a set number of customers and staff, and you move up a plan when your round outgrows it. See each card for the numbers.

You simply cannot add more, until you upgrade or make room. Nothing that exists ever stops: deliveries go out, wallets charge, cash reconciles, and the books stay right. Limits only gate adding new customers, staff or hubs, and the billing page shows how much room you have left.

We retry, remind you, and give you a grace period. If it still is not settled, your account goes read-only: nothing is deleted, your books stay intact, and you can still sign in, export your data and pay. Settle the bill and everything switches back on.

Yes, and most of it you can do yourself. The import tool brings your customers, their subscriptions and their outstanding balances across from a spreadsheet, checks every row, and shows you a preview before anything is written. Most rounds move in an afternoon. If you get stuck, we help.
