Yes. Put a deposit on each returnable crate or box, swap it on every drop, and refund on return. It’s tracked per member, so shortages are visible instead of a season-end surprise.
Do members trust that the money is handled right?
That’s the point of the ledger. Every top-up, share draw-down, pause, deposit and refund is written down twice in an append-only record that’s checked automatically to balance. Members can read their own history, and nobody, not even an admin, can quietly rewrite it.
Some members collect at a drop site instead of home delivery. Is that supported?
Yes. Deliver to the door or run to shared collection points. Runsheets group members by drop site and sequence the route between them.
