Lanemi started with eggs, milk and a delivery round of our own, and a shelf of software that did not fit any of it.
We ran a small farm, taking free-range eggs and fresh milk to homes down the road. When we went looking for software, we found the same three problems again and again. It was built for milk and nothing else. It assumed one country and one way to pay. And it was loose with money, which is the one thing you cannot be loose with. So we built our own, and we started with the ledger, because getting the money right came first.
